Fondly called "Manang Perry" by her peers and subordinates, Mrs. Esperanza Remorca is the strict senior nurse of the Medical and Dental Clinic. She graduated from the University of the Philippines (UP) - Philippine General Hospital (PGH), class 1963 and passed the Nurses' Licensure Examination on October 1963.
Perry worked as a staff nurse at the PGH Pediatric Ward and then as Company Nurse at the Rural Health Unit of Imus, Cavite in 1967. She joined Trinity University of Asia in July 20, 1970 as the nurse of the Elementary and High School Department. She transferred to the College Department in June 1989 until she retired last May 2007.
In her 37 years of service in Trinity University of Asia, she served the university imbued with core values, respect for the people she associates with, and integrity in all she actuates. She is recognized not only for being professional but also for her genuine friendliness, compassion for her patients, family and co-workers. "It will be hard for me to leave Trinity because this is my second home and family," Perry said during the interview.
There is a time for everything under heaven… and for Manang Perry, it is already time to leave the profession she devoted more than half of her life to and start devoting her time to her friends, family and self.
